These areas are a major source of moisture problems. Untreated exess crawl space moisture permeates up into living areas, emits odor and saturates stuctures. It creates an environment conducive to molds, infestation and rot. The foundation are an inadequate source of ventilation, and do not expel enough moisture to keep the crawl space dry.
